About

Laurence G. Tilley is an artist, writer and photographer. He mostly sculpts in clay but has used many media at one time or another. Whether finally expressed as fired, glazed ceramics, in resin or in bronze, his sculptures are always about the original material – the clay is always at the heart of it.

His work is inspired by the human form and by the contrast of beauty and ugliness. His interests in fantasy and mediaeval history and literature often form themes.

He writes for performance poetry and for fantasy role playing games, and is the editor of a poetry and art anthology and a poetry anthology.
